Paul McMullan

Pleasance Bunker 2: 3rd – 28th August

This year marks the debut Edinburgh Festival Fringe show of Paul McMullan, bringing one of Edinburgh’s most uplifting shows Alcopop to the Pleasance Bunker 2 from the 3rd to the 28th August at 9.15pm

Paul McMullan has made some mistakes. This is his story, all about having no job, no home and two children to support. After developing an alcohol addiction Paul found himself having to make a decision, sort himself out or risk losing his kids. Alcopop is a hilarious and inspirational show from one of UK comedy’s best natural storytellers offering a refreshingly honest look at hitting rock bottom and bouncing back.

Gaining a reputation for his punchy delivery and heartfelt subjects, Paul is fast becoming one of the hottest up and coming stand-ups in the country. Last year he took part in the sell-out AAA Stand-up Late show at the Pleasance Courtyard. Paul regularly performs on the live circuit up and down the UK he has previously won Comedy Café London’s New Act Weekly Competition and Comedy Gladiators in Bath.
